Shankar6 - Indian Origin
Derived from the cotton plant, cotton fibre is soft and fluffy. The Shankar 6 variety of cotton produced in Gujarat serves as a raw material for the majority of textile companies across the globe. It is also our favoured variety of cotton fibre for its fabulous texture and suppleness.
This fibre is produced by separating cotton from the cotton seed with the help of the ginning process. Subsequently, this fibre is pressed mechanically into bales weighing 160-170 kg each.
